In February 1995, "Lil' Bits & Pieces" was launched in Broken Bow, OK. becoming an immediate success. So much so, that soon the paper was covering all of McCurtain county and branching into SW Arkansas. Within 4 years it was popular enough to be franchised.
In 2002, the paper was introduced in Quinlan, Texas and the name changed to Good Times Gazette. "Lil' Bits & Pieces" followed suit and by 2008 the two papers had merged to cover a massive tri-state area.
Over the course of 2011 the Good Times, along with many of her advertisers and customers, suffered through lean times. As a result, a difficult decision to scale back to our original Oklahoma/Arkansas territories was made, but we are determined that 2012 will be full of opportunity and growth. We want to give a special thanks to all of our supporters for keeping the Good Times in publication and look forward to a prosperous future for us all!
